Cornerstone exists because of Jesus. We are a people who have been transformed by the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, God has forgiven us and adopted us into his family. Now, we have a whole new life.
Through the gospel, God redeems us, forgives us, and adopts us into his family. The good news of Jesus’ death and resurrection makes each one of us a new creation and gives us a new identity: children of God. This is why we can never think of the church as an organization or a building. The church is actually a family—God’s family, filled with redeemed sinners that are now his children.
Through the gospel, God forgives us, adopts us into his family, and makes us his disciples. This means that the church is not just any family. We are a family formed by God—and sent out with a purpose.
The church is a family that ministers to one another, cares for one another, and builds one another up. Each member of the family is a child of God who is uniquely gifted to bless the family and to be a light in our city.
Just like a vine grows best with a good trellis, our church family grows best with good programs. Our programs and ministries are tailored to support the community and mission God has given us.
God gives us a new identity through the gospel. He makes us a family, so we deeply love one another in community. He gives us a purpose, so we deeply love our city on mission. We are far from perfect, so we are constantly learning in equipping.

As followers of Jesus in West LA, we constantly need equipping. It looks like humbly learning from God’s word what he desires for our lives and our loves.
Life at Cornerstone is all about love: love for God, love for one another, and love for our city. We spend our time enjoying God's love and watching it transform our hearts, our church family, and our world in the following ways:
Community Groups are small groups of people who meet together regularly, disciple one another, and live life together.
Sunday Services are a time when our whole church comes together. We experience the joy of worshiping God as a united family.
We see every member of our church family as a missionary sent to their our own unique spheres and called to make disciples wherever God places them.
Partnering with specific organizations helps us connect with hurting people in our city so we can extend the healing love of Christ.
In Our City >
Our mission extends across the world, which is why we partner with others to make disciples of every tribe, tongue, and nation.

Each class is designed to equip our members with the skills and insight they need to minister to others with God’s power.
We host quarterly, half-day conferences covering topics on relationships, life issues, church, and missional living.
Just like a vine grows best with a good trellis, our church family grows best with good programs. Our programs and ministries are designed to support the community and mission God has given us.
Our family ministries are designed to come alongside parents and help equip them to make disciples of their children.

You can find a lot of the information you need here on our website, but this is just an introduction. Whatever your relationship with Jesus, we would love the opportunity to care for you and disciple you. Please contact us with any questions and let us help you get connected.
Community Groups meet together regularly, disciple one-another, and live life together. We have groups near where you live or work so you can have consistent, deep relationships throughout the week.
Every Sunday we worship God in prayer, song, and learning from the Bible. Our services are an encouraging place for Christians to worship and a safe place for visitors to explore.
Most of our service to one another takes place in the flow of daily life—a friend needs some help moving, or some encouragement after a tough day. But serving others also extends to more general needs of the church body. We have lots of ways you can pitch in.
We want people to learn how to love God, love one another, and carry the gospel to all corners of our city. Equipping classes are a great place for adults and high school students to learn more about who God is, what he has done for us, and how we can follow him in West LA.
