Cornerstone exists because of Jesus. We'd love to show you how your story matters to him, and how his story matters for you.
The church isn't an organization or a building. The church is a family—God’s family, filled with redeemed sinners that are now his children because of Jesus.
Just like a vine grows best with a good trellis, our church family grows best with good programs. Our programs and ministries are tailored to support the community and mission God has given us.
As women, we have a complicated relationship with ‘confidence’. From an early age, we’re inundated with worldly messages that leave us with a false standard of perfection. In the work force, we’re encouraged to be aggressive but are also admonished for doing so. In the church, we’re told to have a gentle and quiet spirit, but in practice this often looks like not speaking up for ourselves. All of this can be disheartening and confusing.
This women’s seminar looked at what the Bible has to say about godly confidence, and considered how to apply these principles. We looked at stories of both men and women in the Bible who exhibited godly confidence, allowing their example to encourage and inspire us.
