“Sharing the gospel is an introduction to a person, to the person that meets our greatest needs, fulfills our greatest longings, and deserves our most passionate praise.”

Over the past few weeks we have explored the motivation God has given us to share the gospel and the identity we have as those who live on earth with the purpose to share the gospel.  But, what does it mean to share the gospel?  Is sharing the gospel the recitation of a formula?  Is it an invitation to pray a prayer?  Or is it something far more organic and far more powerful?

Application Question

Who are the non-Christians in your life that you know God wants you to share the gospel with?

Pick one or two of those people and answer the following questions:

  1. What does this person need to know about who God is to rightly understand the good news?
  2. What does this person need to know about who they are to rightly understand the good news?
  3. What does this person need to know about what Christ has done to rightly understand the good news?
  4. What does this person need to know about how they must respond to rightly understand the good news?
